i think you are out of luck there.he should of leveled the floor first with a scratch coat ( or a self leveling compound) letting it dry then another coat of adhesive to attach the tiles

I have the same problem as Jennif. What I did was get a sander with a 400 grit, wet/dry sandpaper, sanded the high spots first, then got some 800 grit wet/dry sandpaper (from an auto parts store) and sanded all the spots again with the 800. After I used a stone enhanser for the “lighter spots” and it helped a little. Then I resealed them.
