Our tile man installed too much mud on some parts of the bathroom floor (to compensate for a 125 yo sloping floor) which apparently caused some of the 12″ polished marble tiles to sink more than others. The floor looks like crap and has sharp edges where some corners jut out. Besides tearing out the floor, is there anything that can be done to fix this? Can the floor be ground down & re-polished on the high spots? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
